Hi guys!

I suddenly noticed that on 18 November 2014 I will unlock my 10 years service badge on Steam! That can only mean one thing: Half-Life 2 is turning 10!

I remember taking the day off work, created my Steam account on an old 64k ISDN line, and played the game from beginning to end in one setting. It was awesome!

Who else will be getting their 10 year badge this month?

Only got internet within the last 2 years, so my Steam account was made at varsity...and I think age only kicks in once you've made a purchase? coz I'm sure i had a steam account before: 20 May, 2012.

Oh well....yea HL2 turns 10 this year on the 16th November :)

And here I am, yet to finish the series..."whistling:

How do you just lose your account? If I ever lost my account I would go batshit crazy.

I didn't have the net back then so my friend activated it for me and what not and we got an email account. Then over the years I forgot the email account. I was 15 at the time :p

Hmm...Thought I was on Steam since Half Life 2 released as well but apparently not >.<

I also lost my original account. Bought Half Life 2 way back in 2004 when it released, however we didn't have internet at home yet, so I can't even remember how I got Steam installed and the like, but somehow I managed. Never used Steam again though due to difficulty with no internets. Had to create a new one when I bought..something, can't even remember what.
