Steam gaming smashes PlayStation and Xbox - PC wins

I can definitely see the draw of Steam. I have a Steam account with dota and a few games.

But the draw for me to playing on my console is ease of use. Relaxing on my comfy sofa with a wireless controller in front of a large screen.

Steam has a lot of merits but I don't like sitting haunched in front of a monitor and a mouse and KB that needs to be on a flat level surface.

I know you could argue (get an xbox windows controller for big picture mode but it is still a schlep to do).
Maybe I just need a gaming throne :p

I also purged dota from my life as I didn't like the person I was becoming. So steam has NO HOLD ON MEH ANY LONGER!!

Also, internet. I have a shitty speed and constant updates are a monumental pain for dota2.

No it's not(Browse click -> delivery -> Plug and Play) :D. Oh and in house streaming is bonus, played Batman AA to try it out.

At first I was going to slap you silly with a fish then I read the seconed part.

Got a ps 3 controller and connected to a large screen, atleast with pc I don't have to change my disk everytime I want to play a diffrent game. :p
And yes I know you can upgrade the hardrive to have a few more AAA games but hey why even bother since your lazy :p
 
Bought simple Media PC (Centreno with 4Gb ram and Intel integrated FX) for the lounge, was shocked to see how well it handled my full HD AAA games with in home streaming.

Now if someone can get SteamOS + XBMC in a single distro with a proper UI with controller support you wont need anything else in the living room.

On that note, would valve hurry up and release their damn controller already.
