So I figured it might be nice to keep a thread running about Greenlight games with potential, and something that you might want to see on Steam. If you like anything you see then sign-in and vote, even if you see something you don't like then vote it down. :)

I played Afterfall: Insanity when it originally released last year. Played like a crappy version of Dead Space. The controls were terrible, which was a shame because the story seemed pretty good.

I definitely want to see the game " In Verbis Virtus". Go check it out at www.indomitus.com there's a downloadable demo available. I don't think there are any games like this out yet. I think it will be hard for our South Africans due to our accent, but I still think it's a good idea and will be willing to buy it.

Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves

Combining action and strategy in a unique way, Sang-Froid: Tales of Werewolves transports you into an epic folktale co-written with best-selling Canadian author Bryan Perro (Amos Daragon, Wariwulf), in which two feuding brothers will have to put aside their differences to save their sister, who is pursued by the Devil himself!

This time however, sheer brute strength won't be enough to save the day as your enemies are way stronger than you are. Only your wits and the ability to combine ingenious traps to setup deadly ambushes will give you a chance to see the sun rise again on your frozen piece of forest...

Oh, yeah. I saw that werewolf one. It looks pretty interesting. Hope it garners enough interest.

So, I don't know if anyone else has read this yet, but Greenlight games do not need 100% to get greenlighted. How the score thing works is it is influenced by the amount of games on greenlight, and the score is only an indication of how many votes a game has received compared to others. Therefore games are greenlight according to the amount of votes they receive, not the score.

Also, apparently the downvote button doesn't negate upvotes. It's more of an 'ignore' button. Not sure how or why that works like that, but eh.

Well until you vote on a game it will continue to show up in your list, so this way you can ignore it and move on.

This is a really cool thing Valve have done, the Humble Indie Bundle is another great way of supporting the indie community. Now when will we see some SA games on Steam's Green Light?

There already are. James did an article about one of them. :)
