Steam introduces free-to-play game support

This is interesting. Steam's not trying to make money out of everything. But i guess the more people they get on steam, the more people will see the games they have on sale and so on. Its a win/win with the developers of the free to play and steam. :)

...forsaken world not yet available through steam in our region. Got the client of their site few days prior to this announcement.

Champions Online just doesn't work with mweb at all. Only way to get it to work is after the launcher opened, go options, set proxy to EU or US if you play there. Then you will be able to create and login, else you will be "stuck" and can't create or login. This however is not a problem when I tested it with webafrica without forcing CO to use a proxy.

Are any of these truly worth it?

Forsaken is not bad, wow clone, f2p. champions online super hero mmo not so bad either. Global agenda, well got tired after playing the tutorial intro. Maybe it gets better...

Mhm...

I'ma start downloading some games tonight. Sucks I'm on a 384kbps line :(

I'm on 384k. Got Champions in two days :).

It's not a bad game, especially since it's free, but they do place some limitations on you, like only 2 character slots and one inventory bag. You'll need to purchase more if you're so inclined.

It's definitely worth a try, I just got my flying travel ability and it's so leka. :D
