STEAM login fails

If I try login to steam via my web browser (any web browser) I always have login fails as if I entered the wrong username and password. My steam client auto logs in thankfully but I guess I may have the same issue if it didn't.

I emailed steam support yesterday but have not had a reply yet.

Im definitely entering the right details as I even changed my password via the steam client. Still no luck logging in through a browser though.

Anyone know whats going on? I should mention I have had this issue since day one but never fussed about it because I'd just use the steam client on my home PC.

Are u sure your entering your username right? It's not your whole email anymore.. Just the username

I had similar issues last year. I could never figure out what the problem was, but one day it just stopped happening.

I had similar issues until I remembered that when I signed up I had capitalised certain letters and over the years had made it all uppercase. The login information seems to be case sensitive.

Also, your username might be different from your Steam Profile name. For some reason ViperGTI was taken so my login is now _vipergti_ while my profile name is ViperGTI (http://steamcommunity.com/id/ViperGTI)

It's happening to me right now. Worked yesterday, now it doesn't.
Then again all Steam is doing these days is working on my tits.

ok well....what the actual hell.

After years of not being able to log in through a browser I give it one more bash and it works.

Mygaming forum gets things sorted yo!

i had the same issue, logged out of steam, changed my password, works fine now
