Hi guys. I just got a private chat invite from a random person named [DBLG] $herßet [Fluttershy] with a message saying : " STEAM will give you 1 FREE game to add to your account just visit: www[dot]steamrandom.my3gb.com
" I followed the link and saw that the website looked exactly like Steam, but that the font was a bit bigger and that the email and password area was in capital letters. I did a few google searches and came upon this site http[colon]//blog.spywareguide.com/phishing-scams/2009/03/. I also went to the guys profile page ( reported him too ) and saw that a lot of people got this phising links from him.

So I just want to warn everyone about this before it's too late

Don't Click Above Given Links^^^ :wtf:
*facepalm*

Thanks for the warning. I have removed the malicious links. We do not want malicious links sitting on MyGaming as it is harmful to the site.

Well you better scan your pc for trojans/spyware now why why would you click it? You probably clicked it because your mind was telling you OOO free game but...
Get into the mental state of if you want free games make sure to do the research yourself there are loads of free/2play games on steam forums that's legit.
Thanks for the headsup.

Did you click them?

No, was trying to figure out why someone would post a link to a site that had possible trojans?
Just made it clear to anyone entering the thread that they should be wary of the malicious activity that could occur, clicking the link...
Yay my Douche mistake this week in the forums has now been overshadowed!!! :D
Some things are best kept to oneself... To prevent mishap of a community member (like myself) from resurfacing it... As I'm doing now. :p
