Story is good, but the combat is insanely repetitive. Only get it if you're willing to endure that for the story.

I didn't like Alan Wake. I stopped playing as soon as he was being a Dick to his wife/gf. Not for me.

In the usual half-arsed way, yeah. It's gone over to the same/a similar model as Guild Wars. Buy once, play until the studio goes under.

If anyone else wants a buddy invite, just drop me a PM with an email. Just note that the buddy invite is only for 72 hours, so I'd advise getting your hands on the client before that. The client is huge, so on slower connections it might take more than 72 hours to download.
