These cards, are they just "badges" basically? Like achievements or collectables or something?
I noticed I had a bunch of them along with some Team Fortress items so I put some of the cards as well as all the TF items up for sale and it seems people are actually paying money for it? :wtf:

Is there something I'm missing? Are there more to these cards that people see enough value in them to actually pay for it?

Well, you get backgrounds and chat icons when you craft a badge. You supposedly also get discount coupons on games and experience. Not sure what the experience is for. I do know that once you are level 10 you have the ability to add a Showcase on your Steamprofile. But then, it's not much....

Lol, yeah, made made nearly $10 selling all my TF2 stuff. Got and item up for $15 that no one has bought yet. Might drop the price soon.
