Steam Xmas/Winter Sale 2013

Very tempted with the 50% Arkham Origins, but I haven't even finished the first 2 yet, so waiting rather before it turns into another title i own and not play :S

Ai ai ai ai ai....

I'm hoping to get my hands on a few Tom clancy titles for 75% off

Yeah, I have $3.58 from selling cards.

How much can you sell those foil cards from the last sale for? I may have one or two lying around.

Just picked up Electronic Super Joy for the heck of it. Kinda looks like Super Meat Boy, but for $1.50 including extra content, I figured I can't go wrong...

The flash sale for that will be over in a minute though.

Anyone have any comments on Alice: Madness Returns?

Fun in the beginning but becomes boring mid/later game. Never finished it because of this.

when you put it up for sale they give you a graph showing what the item has been sold for to help give you an idea

There is a graph on the sell screen and then you can fill in how much you want or how much the buyer will pay because valve takes a cut of the sale. Sometimes I put a card on there for a higher amount just for the heck of it, who knows, maybe someone will bite. :D

As a fan of the original I have to say that I enjoyed this a lot more than most it seems. For me the first hour or so almost put me off however later on it just became sick and twisted and just sooo much prettier to look at.

It's funny because in general we always complain about how short games are these days but Madness Returns actually starts to stretch things out for much longer than most games and you almost start to get to that "is it ever going to end?" feeling - ah who am I kidding I loved every minute of it once I got hooked and I played it through to completion unlike most games (so that probably makes four of us or something).

I finished it as well and loved it, but for the life of me I can't remember how it ended....

Yeah it was a long story with quite a bit happening between the platforming so remembering how exactly it ends is not an easy thing to remember (I think it's a little too twisted to remember all of the beautiful details). Easiest (and far quicker than replaying it) is to just watch a replay of the ending ***SPOILERS FOR THOSE THAT HAVEN'T PLAYED*** here. Almost makes me feel like replaying it now...if only I had more time and fewer other games to work through still.

Picked up the Bioshock Triple Pack as well as the early access to Blade Symphony. Seems interesting from the reviews, and quite a large concurrent multi-player user list. My first early-access purchase though, keen to follow it through :)

I can help you out if you want...

Don't tempt me, satan :D

Did some private work before closing for $$ to go into my Steam fund (You know the one the "real" boss doesn't know about) and it should have been paid when they closed on the 20th.
