Steam Xmas/Winter Sale 2013

Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Platinum and Tower Wars purchased this evening. Nothing for me and all for gifts.

Dark Souls suffers from GFWL. So Co op will be through that.
 
Mini-reviews:

Bastion is decent. The narrator's voice is legend. Plays vaguely like torchlight. Most opponents feel underpowered (most) and bosses felt a bit overpowered. I got bored after a while.

Anno - rocks if you like the style. Think SimCity / Settlers etc. Anno 2070 execution is decent. Pleasant all round. Nasty uPlay thing though...like gfwl just not quite as nasty.

If you're looking to burn cash rather grab skyrim legendary though.
 
I have only ever played Anno1602. Apart from the graphics being chalk and cheese, is 2070 in the same style?
 
Its pretty much the same as the previous Annos except more polished. Nice graphics, pleasant interface etc.

The "opponents" feel a little thin...they act mostly as trading partners rather than opponents. Maybe thats because I played on lower difficultly though.

If you liked 1602 then you'll like 2070 too.

If you do buy it rather get the complete edition though seeing how there are a bunch of DLCs.
 
I picked up Wargame: European Escalation for $1.99 /90% off (keeping $6 in my steam wallet for GTAV 4)

I know that Airland Battle is more active in multiplayer scene but wanted to check out the game 1st.

Picked up Bastion and just started it. Also watched a Keynote by the developer Amir Rao. Quite intriguing :)

I'll have to wait to wait until Sunday to see what cards I have accumulated. Voting through my Android Steam app. Haven't yet seen what I got.
 
edit: On second though, just remembered Dark Souls have GFWL, and I saw no official confirmation of it's removal.

Thought GFWL would be dead by now, but Bulletstorm and Dark Souls still seems to be hanging by it...

Anyone else get Don't Starve for 92% off? I got the two pack, oh man the savings...:)

Thank you price errors! I usually miss these, so this was cool. It was 90c each one in for the double pack :D

Also the reason it happened, thanks to mathematics:
66% off $15= $5, 66% off $5 = $1.67

Now I know why this happens every now and then. You learn something new everyday.
