Steam Xmas/Winter Sale 2013

I was hoping to see Europa Universalis IV in the "Community's Choice" sale, but I think Steam spared me shelling out on that :o
 
Was a productive Xmas...

Selling the 1st rounds of globe cards I made enough money to buy
GTA 4 Complete edition
Wargame: European Escalation

and I even had enough cash left over to buy 3 globe cards back (I think some of em was the same ones I sold for $1 each)

Alan himself can be a bit of a bastard, but he has a mean game. Well worth $3.
The level with the rock-stage in the middle of the corn fields will always stay with me as one of the greatest (yet bizarre) settings in a game ever.
Now you'll have to get it just to see what I'm talking about ;)

OK my Steam wallet is officially at $0

Just picked up Alan Wake's American Nightmare for $0.99 not that its new, seeing that I have both in my GOG library.
 
I'm glad to say that I haven't spent any money at Steam. :)

I did however buy two XBox Live titles that were on special plus I bought that Two Worlds bundle that was mentioned in the bundles thread.
 
Not yet sure what my damage is and not sure if I want to know either. Bought that Poker game which is on the flash sale. Bought plenty of games but quite a few were for gifts.
Also bought some trading cards to finish my collections of Age of Empires 2 HD and Unreal Tournament, and got the badges. Was hoping to see if I could get those I was missing from the summer sale, but seems no one is selling.

Part of my damage this sale was because I am staying a separate Steam profile for my daughter. I don't want her having access to my games. I'll be gifting her some of those bought.

You gonna love family sharing then, esp the saving money part.

On beta and got my library shared with my son, so only have to buy games once and he can play them on his own account with his own achievements. One feature I can not wait for or hope Valve brings in before this goes live to everyone is some form of Age Restriction system. My son is 15 so not that big a problem but I can imagine it be a whole different ball game if he was still 8.
