Steamgifts, the end of an era?

Oh crap!!!

I don't know how this will affect us but I see SteamDB now has a new DB entry:

AllowCrossRegionTradingAndGifting YES/NO

Don't know how this be handled with Steamgifts but I can see this having an impact on the number of games we are allowed to enter in future.

The positive side on this is the ones we will be able to enter will have a lot less competition?

According to Neogaf, this only effects South America and Eastern European regions who get heavily discounted prices. They're doing it to stop cross region trading/selling. I don't think this will have much affect on Steamgifts to be honest.

The Russian and Brazilian traders will get hit hard though if this becomes the norm.
