I recently bought the SteelSeries Apex keyboard from Rebel Tech in Johannesburg. It has 22 macro buttons and I am quite happy with it.
However, I play games like Mortal Kombat Komplete and I do not see in the keyboard's software MACRO PLAYBACK OPTIONS like you get in the software of the Corsair K50, K70 etc.
The playback options that I am looking for are as follows:
Playback once (this is the only option in the software)
Select this option to play the macro once for each time you press the button.
Playback n times
Select this option to play the macro a specific number of times (“nâ€) for each
time you press the button. For example, if you enter “6†in the Define N: text
box, pressing the button will cause the macro to run 6 times.
Repeat while pressed
This option will cause the macro to repeat as long as the button is held
down.
Play until stopped
When this option is used, pressing the button will start the macro and it will
repeat until the button is pressed again.
I send a request to SteelSeries Support asking them to incorporate these exstra options in a future software update. Brendan M from their Support Centre wrote "Thank you for your suggestions! I'll relay them onto the correct people!". Hopefully they will consider it.
This is just to inform you guys & gals.
