Afrikaans singer Steve Hofmeyr was arrested in Bronkhorstspruit on Thursday night for speeding, Gauteng traffic police said.

"He [Hofmeyr] was arrested in the Bronkhorstspruit area for travelling 169km/h in a 80km/h zone," spokeswoman Busaphi Nxumalo said.

"He is charged with reckless and negligent driving and for exceeding the general speed limit and will appear in the Bronkhorstspruit Magistrate's Court on Friday."

Two guys (one serious and white, the other zany and black) with totally different outlooks on life are both arrested for speeding and spend the night in the same cell. Their dislike of each other is immediate and they are both glad when they are released the next morning to go their separate ways. However, due to clerical error they are given the keys to each others car. Because the cars are identical, they only realize the mistake when they switch on the radios.
When they return the vehicles, a fight breaks out. A judge with a sense of humor sentence them to spend one week together to learn to get along. As the days go by, a true friendship develops between the two and they both learn an important lesson about tolerance while they stand together to fight the evil president of the country.
