Stranglehold (Xbox 360) for R99

@ Musica! Damn good deal IMO!

Haven't opened it up but have been meaning to get this game since it came out at R800 odd. Now it is R99 and I finally got it. Rather late than never I guess. See there are some good specials on oldish games at the moment. Who here has played the Table Tennis for Xbox 360?
 
Hey Antowan, let us know what you think of it. With these economical times most my xbox games are specials these days, haven't bought a "just released" game since GTA IV

I'm surprised at Musica (for once)....usually they only have rip-off prices like The Darkness for almost R700 :eek:
 
@ antowan which tennis games are you referring to. Virtual tennis. Rockstar table tennis. theres like a bunch of them, and what do you want to know about them??
 
Let us know what Stranglehold is like... I didn't think it was worth R800... but R100, might be an option :)
 
when does this special end? I too seen strangelhold selling at this price 2 weeks ago. Downloaded the demo via the marketplace, but forgot if it was any good.
Post a simple review of your first impressions ;)
 
hehe, i also grabbed stranglehold. i mean at R99, you just cannot go wrong! i also got overlord, which was surprisingly fun. that one was R199 though, which is still good

can't wait for the next round of specials :D
 
So I went to our lame musica store that has NO idea on how to run specials or even put prices on their games and found no specials other than the football manager'esque games :/

Well to be honest, for such a mediocre game, it deserves this low price, it's so repetitive... run around to one area shoot and dive around killing everyone, when done, re-load move to next area and repeat. It's exactly like the Bad boys 2 game was on pc... Even the graphics are shoddy.

Same goes for LAIR on ps3 which is selling brand new at BT games for R99
 
I got the game for R99 and I enjoy it. It is an arcade type of shooter with lots of action. I play it in between MP games.
