Stream videos to your Xbox One wirelessly

But it already can do this. The feature is even on the 360. I can already stream videos and control them from my pc so I'm wondering why fix something that isn't broken?

I think the point is, Microsoft is making it easier. You won't need any xbmc/plex/dlna servers, you can simply right click a file and go "play on xbox" and done.

I guess this is probably the exact same platform that ms wants to stream games from the console with, but they are merely showing off the media streaming since it is the first thing most would do.

At the moment you right-click the file you want to watch from your pc and select play to xbox one (or xbox 360).
I don't see how it could be any easier than it already is.
Streaming games I do get, I just think they're trying very hard to give the impression of value added services.
