Stuff that peeves me on Bad Company 2 - online play

1. I get more Kills if we actually claim the base and move up (Rush) I only play rush servers. (Thus I do try and claim M-coms if it seems like no one else is trying too.)
2. When Assault claims an M-com who do you think is the guy doing nothing but Headshot the defenders trying to defuse it?

Sniping has a place in BFBC2, but you need a good sniper to compliment your team. My priority is taking out enemy snipers, then defend M-coms and lastly attack M-coms if no one else is doing it.

Not to blow my own horn but I'm pretty good at sniping in BFBC2 :p

What was your highest marksman score so far? Mine was +220. Shot the pilot from an apache flippen MILES away. Lucky shot though :) Beesbal, I think I've played with you a few times before! (BoerieZA)

Yea we have :) seen you before on SGS.

Think mine is 341. Had to aim below the first dot on the cross hair at the bottom :o
 
I am game good medic here and good engineer as long as someone supplies me ammo :D So pick a server time and ts3 server ;)

You can, but you need to unlock the defibrillators first. Most people choose the medic class and cannot see the defibs and automatically assume that you cannot revive people. You really need to play in a class to unlock pretty much anything and everything.
 
I played for the first time last night, for just over 30 minutes and the snipers already got on my nerves. I'm trying to level through medic first atm.

This is especially true in BC2 seeing as though the headshot hit-reg is mint when shooting at a stationary target. A moving target though... :rolleyes:

OnTopic, number one peeve (pre-patch-nerf) : M60/CG spammers. I know its in the game, but they both annoyed to the extent that the G36E/ERYX|SRAW spammers did in BF2...
 
Just to add my 2 cents, Awesome game, but they can REALLY give us the 'toggle crouch' option. I'm getting arthritics in my left pinky because of this. Both the PS3 and Xbox has this feature, why exclude it from the PC??

My left pinky is getting some good exercise, it is anoying especially if you sniping and have to crouch behind cover for prolonged periods of time.

So the game has been updated again, took about 2 hours on my 384, some nice new shiny graphical enhancements and a few bug fixes which is nice.

The thing about tk's, when you immediately type "soz" the person that you tk'd wont see that because the chat feature is not visible when waiting to respawn.
 
I was lucky. My local could access international for the whole of Saturday. So I downloaded the patch:D

Which is something I find quite annoying, also if you're busy typing you often get cut off before you finished. It's something I think they need to work on.

i stab people... WITH BULLETS!

vss + magnum ammo + red dot = one nasty close range gun for recon

It happens. Have not played the multiplayer since the update but it did happen to me before I patched it up.
 
I hate running up behind a sniper and knifing him with a rubber knife. In some cases I try stabbing him 4 times he than procedes to turn around and shoot me...

Exactly, it's so rewarding stabbing one of them after they've picked you off from some camping spot.
