Also watched the game, and yes there were some weird calls for us, but damn, how many warnings did the Reds get before he actually took out the yellow card?

Yeah that second yellow card was a shit call from the ref though. The Reds were infringing a lot during the second half, but they never had the ball to play.

But no matter, it takes a special kind of team to turn their fortunes around like that in the second half.

Yeah, the score is on the board. Some of our other teams also suffered similar fates due to other refs, so I guess what comes around goes around.
 
The Sharks weren't playing their best rugby. Something to keep in mind is that you don't just beat a team on their home ground, especially not the Bulls at Loftus. I wasn't too confident that they would win in any case. Jake White put it best when he said that it is like the grow an extra arm and leg when they play at home. Having said that, neither team played well. I would like to see both teams play each other at their best, that would be a treat for a rugby fan.
 
So with most of the "big name" teams losing this weekend, I guess some of the picks here wasn't that favourable?

I just suck at Superbru this year. I haven't picked the Lions at any stage because I keep believing that they must lose at some stage.

I picked the Stormers this weekend because of a feeling instead of picking with my head. And they could have won that game but they play the most stupid rugby in the world. I really wish they would get a new backline coach.

I can't believe the Chiefs lost. I mean the Chiefs have looked amazing up until now.

And so forth. I just don't know what to pick anymore.

I've done ok-ish on the rugby side of things:
The Chiefs and Sharks let me down in Superrugby and I picked too late, so I missed the Hurricanes game but I managed to jump a few positions regardless.
With the 7s I've moved into tied first position, which is pretty good considering I missed the picks in half of the very first tournament.

Cricket, however didn't go well at all. I managed to pick the India vs WI game spot-on, but I couldn't manage a single point in any of the other games :mad:

Haha I'm the person you are tied with. I went to a place outside Parys and didn't have any cellphone signal so I couldn't make my picks for the second day of the 7s.
 
Well i onlyl had one wrong pick again the weekend so i'm happy and i took first spot back on the bru again. and Me bulls that were given no chance of winning beat the guppies :D so all in all a good weekend for me

I'm not playing a victim tag i just go on what the odds were and what was said in the papers and the fan sites sharks spoke a big game and didn't pitch

Don't know why people have to be sour about a loss..............
 
jip i did, lets hope i do a little better... i went for yet another upset pick with the hurricanes and the crusaders...hoping it pays off!
 
I've been moving up quite nicely, and hope that I can do the same this weekend. But for some reason I don't have all the faith in my picks...
