Superbru 2014

So I know we're all in high spirits for the football and all, but I'd like to make the following statement about the weekend's rugby: SA Rugby is on a very good road. Not only did the Springboks convincingly beat the Welsh on Saturday, the Junior Boks beat the Junior All Black for the second time in one competition!! It is unbelievable! They played such good rugby, and it shows that we are blessed with some awesome talent that should be coming through to the senior Boks in no time. After this weekend I've got a good feeling about our rugby teams.

What a goal from messi that is what you expect from your star player's Argentina did not play that well but Messi saved the day.
 
Another good game on the World Cup. Algeria and Korea squared up for a very entertaining game in which Algeria took it 4 - 2. Algeria need to beat Russia in their final match to advance.

Hehe he was so far in front that even though I picked everything right for the last couple of rounds I just couldn't catch him. Nicely done!

I will create pools for the Rugby Championship and the Currie Cup this coming weekend. (Super Rugby has been a complete failure for me and my team).

I get more and more disillusioned with my rugby predictions skills the more I play Superbru!
 
What a World Cup it was. I had fun with that. Congrats Devil, you were just too good. I did really well all over the show, so Devil and Soli should have done extremely well globally.

I'm looking forward to the Currie Cup to start. I'm also happy with the Sharks for making the play-offs, but pissed off that they didn't get a home semi-final. Oh well, at least they made it "whistling:
 
Congrats on the win, Devill. Since you are a Brazil supporter, I guess it all evens out.

Speaking of Brazil, I heard a DJ describing the Brazil-Germany game as such:
"This was the most uncomfortable semi since the time I watched Brokeback Mountain."
