Damnit, I knew that the Pumas would beat the Cheetahs and then went against it. As for the Lions beating the Bulls, well I didn't see that coming.

The Blue Bulls were exceptionally poor. In fact the Lions looked streets ahead of them. I can't help but like this Lions team. Looking full of promise!
 
I managed to pick 1 (one) winner out of four games. It seems like my 2014 Superbru curse is now official 😬

Shocked that the Pumas won, the Blue Bulls have been rubbish in the Currie Cup for so long now picking the Lions was easy - I'm a Bulls fan as well.
 
i forgot about the 1st game, got the 2nd and 3rd right and went against my better judgment with the cheetahs...

With the Boks out of the equation, games are likely to be tighter and an "upset or two" are probable. Going to better viewing, me think.
 
It's sad to see that Lood de Jager had such a bad game on Saturday. He missed 6 tackles! And I was so happy to see Juan Smith back in the team but he was completely anonymous. And to see our scrum destroyed like that. It was just horrible.

So I really hope the Sprinboks play much better in their next game.

As for the Currie Cup, it's good to see WP and the Lions playing so well.

yeah completely missed out on the cricket due to me working so much these last 2 weeks :( even missed out on the rugby but catching up 5th now in the currie cup
