I saw someone from Internation Rugby complain about the tournament in it's current form, and I agree. They should cut the 6th SA team, remove Japan and Argentina and go back to 15 teams. It is just ridiculous in it's current form for various reasons.

Our 6th team (heck sometimes even our 4th and 5th teams) is/are just not good enough to compete on this level. The travel is already hectic, now including having to travel the other way as well (for the home Puma games) is just madness. The Puma's and Japan aren't really competing well either, though the Puma's are oky. Arguably you can't expect too much in their first years, but still.

The whole conference/group setup at the moment is also crazy. The Kings aren't playing a single NZ team during the playoffs, for example (if I read correctly). With 15 teams, it used to be each team doesn't play 2 other teams, which is also not ideal but a lot better than what we have now.

I think SANZAR need to sit down and look at this again, because it isn't working, making a long, arduous year of rugby even longer. The players will start breaking, especially those who play for other clubs during our summer (downtime).

Agreed! Them silly Quota EP Kings need to go!

I'd love to see a Southern Hemisphere SuperRugby Premier League, straightforward Home and Away system, 3 points for a win, 1 for a drawn, max 12 teams, the others in a Second tier league, bottom 3 of the Premier league relegated, top 3 of the Second league promoted each season.
 
I don't like the new SuperBru site layout for rugby predictions. Yeah, I know I can switch to the old one but I'm lazy.
