Superbru - Currie Cup and Rugby Championship 2013

Sharks were missing all their Bok players and fielded a lot of new players. Green they were. But they had their chances to win. Griquas were the better team. Played with passion. Without the Boks in the game, it says a level playing field which the Griquas took full advantage of. Credit to them.

Oh yeah, and it didn't help that a certain forum member jinxed the outcome before the end. :mad::p
 
Wow, we are a useless lot. Nobody getting a single point in the MyGaming pool. I would have thought that some of the people that know nothing about rugby (read Bulls supporters) would have picked Griquas by accident. While mocking the Bulls, I have to admit that I'm expecting an upset against WP later today.
 
So in 3 games this weekend, the points difference overall was 3 points. Just about as tight as a duck's backside as this year's CC kicks off. Never would have given a draw to the WP v Bulls game. That's almost as good as a loss at home. Tough luck to a spirited Lions team who almost pulled it off. And the Sharks, even if the Griquas are a better team for the missing Boks, it is incredibly disappointing to see it lost at home. Eish!
 
I have absolutely no comment to make about the weekends rugby. Disappointing is all I can say. And for the WP, where the hell did you go in the 2nd half? Come on man!
 
Well, despite the Sharks that lost, seems as if the rest of the weekends rugby was quite interesting. Will have to catch-up on the highlights later tonight. Well done to the Bulls for actually managing a draw.

As things stand, it looks like I will be going to the Bok's game against the Pumas on Saturday. Will be my first game watching the Boks. And it couldn't be at a better venue, I think.

That's great! Last year was my first time to watch the Boks live and then I ended up seeing another game too. I hope you've got nice seats and that you enjoy it. :D
 
Aww man, I see the tickets are sold out. So then I thought I'll get tickets for the All Blacks game and that's sold out too! I guess if you snooze you lose. :(
 
I was fortunate enough to have seem 2 of the 3 Springbok test this year so far. It really is so much more fun than watching any provincial game. Enjoy it as much as you can.
