Superman or more Batman: where should Rocksteady go?

Hey as long as they keep a sandbox theme in superman like they did with the Bat then I'm definitely in!!! :D the more the superhero games the better!! :D
 
Superman is such a lame hero. Boring. Sorry just my opinion. Name me one good superman game?
 
I concur .-. I mean really. Superman is so backwards he wears his undies on the outside. Probably assumes that is what people mean when they say they are going commando :-P
 
If they do a Superman game, they would have to make it a bigger sandbox due to his flying abilities. Also, how would limit Superman's x-ray vision to prevent you from finding all the secrets of the game?
 
I prefer Batman, because he doesn't technically have superpowers, he's just got a lot of money and a lot of time on his hands. :P

Much the same reason I like Iron Man so much.
 
Batman is awesome and it would be hard to beat, the universe is just so rich and atmospheric that it lends perfectly to games. If you were sticking with DC stuff then Green Lantern might be cool IFF you focused on the 'space cop' side where the game would take place on an alien planet you maybe you had to do some detective work and shit like that.
 
Batman is definitely my favourite hero, although I would love to see how Rocksteady will handle a Superman game....
 
The problem with a Superman game would be the core game concept. Games that have a focus on combat present a risk to the player and the primary focus. You don't do stupid crap because the player would die and therefore lose. But generally Superman, and most other super heroes, story lines are about the danger presented to OTHER people. Superman is just so powerful that to present real danger you have to crank things up to such a massive scale.
 
I think a new Superman game would be great. They could redeem themselves from the last one. If they want critical acclaim they're going to have go darker though. Happy bright mario superman is just not going to cut it anymore.
 
I would like to see a Superman game from Rocksteady. EA's Superman movie game sucked but they got the flight mechanics right and I think it was a good idea to use Metropolis as the life bar instead.

Ever hear of lead? ;) Wouldn't mind more superhero games if done right like Batman:AA and hopefully Batman:AC. The last Superman game made me want to puke.
 
I think you would be hard pressed to beat Batman when it comes to re-illustrating a comic book super hero in a game and making it enjoyable, while having a good story at the same time. Spider-Man - Web of Shadows looks alright, but nothing compared to Batman imo.
 
I doubt that they would be able to make Superman as big of a success as they did with Batman, but I still think they would be able to do some really awesome things with it.

Seeing what a big success they made of Batman I wish a studio like theirs would do a Ironman game :D. After seeing the movies I really thought the game would be awesome but it turned out to be one of the worst games ever, and thats if you ignore the horrible gfx.

Name one good Batman game before AA came out? :p Superman has some brilliant storylines, and has been challenged more than most superheroes, mostly because of his massive power. Morality and choices also feature in his storyline more, due to his invulnerability. Also, Superman actually dies while fighting Doomsday, in one of the best story arcs I can remember.

With the same respect and treatment they gave Batman, I think a Superman game could be amazing. If they bring in the JLA it'd rock even more.

And all this comes from an ardent Batman fan. :D
