Supreme Commander 2 - What are your guys impressions so far?

Hey guys, so I wondered over to SupCom's new website and watched a 20minute video detailing the gameplay and graphics etc and I must say Im pretty impressed. It really looks like a great RTS and was just wondering what anyone else's thoughts were leading up to next weeks release date?

I never played the 1st SupCom but I hear it was very good as well!

I thought the first supcom sucked. I was looking forward for mighty battles and all I really did most of the time was build units and wait for them to be completed really retarded. Took forever to get any were in that game.

If you play it on a hight difficulty the battles pretty intense you machine take a beating though, but you have to have like 50 engineers building you experimental and about another 30 building other thinks so lots of engineering time.

SC2 experimentals look sweet though.

Have any of you guys played the demo yet? I saw it was available on steam.

I'm hoping they have more diverse races, the 1st one was awesome... but the difference between the races wasn't all that much.
