I meant it in the general sense. Swords and shields being olden times setting, Guns and Lasers, a more modern setting. Star Wars though is a bit of a weird one :D. It IS long time ago, but I'll still put it under Guns and Lasers.
 
I'll classify it with swords and shields - they are Jedi Knights after all. Besides that I'm a fantasy nut and think swords are awesome - got a really nice katana from my friends for my 21st.
 
Guns and lasers for me. I struggle to get into games/movies set in the old age. There have been a select few that piqued my interest but generally I stick to modern action/adventures.
 
I love it all, I prefer the old school face to face weapons however when it comes to games, if the foundation is solid anything will do :)

I LOVE BOTH!!! It's just incredibly hard to choose, but I went with swords and shields. Some of the best games I have played have been fantasy games, but I do love games like Mass Effect, Deus Ex etc...
