Back in the day our wow guild even organised a 24-hr marathon where we all created alts to see how far we could level them. Most of us bunked out at around 21-22hrs just due to fatigue.

The dust has settled and Milkfat has officially completed his World Record run of Heroes of Newerth. His official time is still being confirmed by Guinness, but by all accounts, his total time spent on the run was 76 hours. That number includes all break time spent during the run, so the official time stands at almost 69 hours of total gameplay. What makes his Guinness World Record run even more exceptional is that even though he could have slept before he made it to the previous record, he refused and stayed awake for an entire 52 hours straight.

Hehehe, Ja wat damn noobies. When Homeworld 2 came out, me and my mate had a Lan Marathon, from Friday afternoon till Sunday night, taking only bathroom breaks. We ate and drank while playing.
 
I once spent 23 hours playing heroes of might and magic 3 with my uncle. Should of seen the mess we left that day was fun though :D

It baffles me that they can sit playing a game and not realising that they are about to kick the bucket? I wonder if he felt anything or he just sommer dropped dead?

This is nature dude. We're part of it. The only reason we don't always realize it is because humanity distances itself from all the things that animals do to survive, for instance, most of us don't hunt and kill our food. We're so used to our technology, cars, PCs etc, but beneath it all, we're still animals. Some are born weak and they die. In our case, some are born without brains or common sense,

But we played Diablo 2 back in the day like a weekend str8 max 5 hours sleep in 4 days in the holidays. We still fine .. Im super overweight so my heart is prolly also up to 5h1t

LoL is developed by Riot games, not sure where you got Garena from, maybe they are the operators.

As for "not realising you are dying" well if it was a clot in the brain it would have been instant death. As much as people can laugh at this I still find it sad that someone can lack all self control like that and just sit for an entire day playing games.
