Tech Import Supplier Reputation

Hi All

So I've got an update to my update! I received an email from Albert and he has agreed to supply me with the missing BF4 game, this is great news and goes a long way to show he wanted to do right by his customer.

He explained that he has been battling with his supplier and that they turned the tables on him and I can understand that a lot of this is out of the hands of the re-seller, it's happened to me in the past with Sybaritic advertising an item and me confirming stock at price X and then getting an email to say it's gone up.

I wish it was easier for suppliers to keep their own stock but understand this is not always possible or even a good idea with R/$ exchange rates.

This has gone a long way to restoring my faith in Techimport, I like supporting the competition to bring down prices for consumers and that's why I decided to go with Techimport in the first place. They had a great price and were relatively new to the scene, sure this transaction didn't go completely smoothly but the point is it ended positively and that's what counts.

Thank you Albert and Techimport I wish you the best of luck in the future.

So honestly now, did he see your post here and then come back to you and rectify the problem?
Because if so its a pity it had to come to this...

Also maybe Albert should consider taking the BF4 edition off his website if there is a problem getting it?

Because its still there...

Thinking the exact same thing, althought it seems that IS a standard business practice in SA. Otherwise places like Hellopeter wouldnt exist...I have had many a problem only solved because I "complained" (read: reported it) on Hellopeter instead of following the official channels...so sad :/
