Russians, Russians so many Crazy Russians. It's Age of Conan all over again.
One of them actually managed to kick my ass with 250 ping...
 
lol this game rocks. I'm on wireless connection and keep getting connection problems which sucks though.

Haha and Maplassie still kicks my ass all over the place, even when my connection is stable for a while! :D

Thanks for hearing my cry and adding a teeworlds server!

As you can see (if you monitor it) it's allready gaining uber attention. Told you it's awesome!

I put word out now on a couple of forums, and ppl are really into it, I see new ppl connecting every map!

I dont want to be overbearing here, but can we look at running a Deathmatch server like the current one, a TDM server and a CTF server?

I'm sure it will run fine off the same machine, 3 instances of the game.

you could call them VGS Teeworlds TDM, VGS Teeworlds CTF, VGS Teeworlds DM.

Just a suggestion though

Who here knows anything about gaming over a wireless network?

While playing Teeworlds I've got a low ping but once every minute or so the game suddenly stutters and shows text along the lines of "Connection Problems" and then a couple of seconds later it works fine again.

I wonder if there's some guide or something that I can look at to configure things better or look for things that might interfere, thus causing the connection problems.

*edit* It's a wireless connection that's connected to DSL.

I also have a wireless connection connected up to my dsl i get high pings sometimes when im playin COD4 online i guess its related to the signal of ur wireless... :rolleyes:

I will speak to the vodacom guyz, Im not on any form of wireless and I have it aswell!
 
I dont have lag, but every 3rd of 4th round my connection in the game drops, I just quit and re enter and its fine!
 
This is actually the first time that I've played a fast paced online game. Haha it is so much fun. It makes me want to go out and buy a first person shooter to try online. :D
 
To those of you with Xfire - you can add TeeWorlds manually by right-clicking on the Xfire icon, selecting Launch, then detect games. Expand the list of games not added and browse to TeeWars (what it used to be called). Then manually set the path to where you placed the game :)
 
Downloaded. I might give this a try tomorrow night. I hope I am not as bad at it as I am at Fear Combat.
 
I'm getting random lag spikes for some reason. My average ping is around 65ms, but suddenly my character will jump all over the place and just lag badly in general until I quit and restart the game.

All in all I'm having a blast though.

try what solitude did a few posts back. My connection is fine though, but I think I also did the same thing a while back to fix the UT3 lag spikes.
