Anybody as excited as me getting this? Whats your thoughts on this game?
All xbox gamers getting this, leave your GT's here so I can invite you and we can have some games on LIVE when this hits the shelves :D
 
not really looking forward to it as tekken has always come second 2 virtua fighter gameplay wise and from a depth perspective , and im afraid it will be the same again, street fighter already took the fighting genre by storm this year so i doubt tekken will make even a splash.
 
The is a fan based game, people who love tekken are waiting for this release. As for Street Fighter it did well yes, but i found it was trying to hard to be the orignal and not trying enough to be a mordern day console game. I hated it... I see what tekken has to offer when it gets released

yes and that is why virtua fighter has been universally accepted and rated by the gaming industry as the better game since 1994 :rolleyes: !

I own both consoles So Get your facts straight before jumping to conclusions ! or if your brain is to small go and use something called google
 
I am very excited about this one. Have owned all of the Tekken games since Tekken 2. I love them. Will get the new one.

I enjoy Virtua Fighter too, but never got as into it as Tekken. Though I would be more than happy to buy the newest one if I could get a good price for it.
 
why would i want to google to get my own opinion?

personally, virtua fighter is a terrible game to me... i am seeing this trend that xboxers do not like tekken because it's not available to them... so no direct insult to you, was merely a question...

i must say i really enjoyed your really intelligent and advanced, grown up "my brain is small" comment...

You have just proven that you are an IDIOT ! Tekken 6 is a multiplatform game !

My Advice is Stop trolling and get a life
 
my apologies for not being the game-god... your comments don't make virtua fighter a better game though... :D :D :D
 
Putting in my pre-order next week!
This game is gonna kick a$$ literally :D

I hated Street Fighter IV, always preferred my Tekken.
Its not the most technical fighter its just got a great balance and has always been lotsa fun for me and no grinding is a major plus for me
 
I loved Tekken since playing the first one in the arcade and then purchasing the rest for my PS and PS2... Recently got SFIV and must say I was surprised.... really enjoying it... Never got into Virtua Fighter, mostly because it wasn't on the consoles I owned...
 
I have always loved Tekken. Have been playing Soul Calibur IV lately and am enjoying it a lot but Tekken 6 gets me SUPER amped!!! Will be the first game I buy this month on PS3 if I can scrape the cash together. :)
 
This game is gonna average 7 and 8, seems Namco dropped the ball.
Graphics are not what it could've been, some are reporting that the arcade version actually looks better than the console counterparts.

Either way I don't care, I'm getting this. Gameplay is what matters to me and the characters are my favourite :D
 
I heard that there is a old arcade type story mode in the new Tekken - anyone know about this?
