Today at Sony's Paris Games Week 2015 press conference, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe President and CEO Jim Ryan announced that Tekken 7 would be coming to PlayStation VR.
Virtually no details were given on the Tekken 7 VR experience, leaving several large questions up in the air. Since nearly all announced PlayStation VR experiences are played in the first person, there are intriguing questions about how a Tekken 7 VR experience might look at feel.
The news concluded Sony's PlayStation VR portion of its press conference, which provided new looks at previously-announced VR games like RIGS, as well as announcements of several brand-new PlayStation VR titles. We received our first look at a new rollercoaster-themed Until Dawn spin-off called Rush of Blood, as well as a sneak peek of Crytek's Robinson, which seemingy gives players the opportunity to explore a dinosaur-filled island in full VR.
Sony also announced that "over 200 developers" are currently working on PlayStation VR experiences.
At Paris Games Week Bandai Namco also confirmed that Tekken 7 would have exclusive content on the PlayStation 4.
