Hey guys anyone having problems in the Cape Town areas.
went to telkom got a brand new router today and guess what its worse.

Upload Speed: 356 kbps (44.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

funny thing, I think there is a problem in the whole area because while testing the speed with a telkom tech at the telkom office in Canal Walk, on various accounts the download speed was 0.700Kbs on a 10mb line, where as the free wifi from mweb in the mall runs at oh 10-15mb on my phone so that was funny.

has anyone else had it happen that you can not use any other isp but telkom on their router.
I put on my free Afrihost account it doesn't even connect, my free FNB account connects but then doesn't go on the internet at all.
There are some very strange goings on over here.
