Traditionally Telkom has huge congestion issue on their networks due to a vast customer base. Have experience with unhappy customers on ADSL and 3G who informs that they hardy get the speeds they're wishing for. In my opinion the cheepest isn't always the best and thus Telkom will always remain a risk to deal with.

Absolutely true, especially with Telkom's congestion. Fixed Wireless Broadband is much better and have hardly any latency provided ure console is connected via caple directly to ure router, which is what I've done with my PS4.

Telkom almost always have some fair use policy in some shape or form, period. This is simply due to the huge congetion of internet traffic on the grid as a result of vast customer numbers. Telkom's prices are very competitive and they therefor tap into the middle class market very easily and this cause huge clogging on their systems. BE WARNED THE CHEAPES T IS VERU RARILY THE BETTER OPTION.

I took my parents 100gb/100gb and gave them my uncapped.
The ping spikes were unbearable. They were not able to tell me if it was the tower or what was going on. But on the same antenna, the 100gb/100gb is stable without any issues. So frustrating

Thanks for the headsup. Strange that the capped account has stable connection but the uncapped not. I smell a rat.

I understand throttling uncapped certain hours. I do not mind throttling torrents or downloads and such.
But they guaranteed me that it will not influence my local ping at all. An yet is does, and All the people at Telkom sit and shrug their shoulder and pick their noses! =D
