Telkom network outages - Investigation warranted?

Hi MyGaming

Over the last 1.5 - 2 months, Telkom have had a number of total network blackouts, lasting between 3 and 8 hours, occurring simultaneously on both their fixed line and mobile networks. I have been a Telkom LTE user for the past four years, and I have always found the service to be consistent and reliable, until now. Does anyone know what the problem is? Is this a job for the talented journalists at MyGaming or MyBroadband, [MENTION=289]Jan[/MENTION]? Let me know if you know anything, guys.

The outages seem to be unrelated so far -- there was a significant outage in Centurion a few weeks ago as well, as I recall, but that was as a result of something else.

Will keep an eye out... been receiving a lot of Telkom and Openserve-related complaints recently, so maybe there is something up.
