Telkom Price Query

Hey guys. Just a question regarding telkom's uncapped prices.

2mb uncapped :
Cost
R459.00per month(2)
+ Telkom Line Rental
R148.37per month(3)

Total Cost
R607.37per month(4)

on the notes at the bottom : (2) This cost excludes your monthly Telkom line rental fee, ADSL access rental and all voice and fax calls made on this line.

does this Cost price of R459 include the dsl line rental? or are they trying to say it doesn't?
if not. surely customers are paying an additional R299 for line rental (which is utterly atrocious)

What you guys think?

If it is the DoUncapped bundle its the Adsl Line rental plus the Uncapped Account.

the R607.37 is the total amount you will be paying. Just be aware that they will try and get you to take their call more option where you get free calls to telkom numbers on weekend or something which is an extra R40 or something.
 
O dont worry guys i am on MWEB, i dnt really like telkom at all (saying that nicely) . was assking because my friend and i are trying to make a case to get him off Telkom. Thanks for the help guys,

well its cheaper than Mweb so how you planning to get him to Mweb :D
 
I must say I have this exact plan. Yes it's not the absolute cheapest package, but so far I've had very good service, speeds and support from Telkom. Probably not such a power user that I'll get throttled, as for June I only managed to reach about 100GB, and was never even close to being throttled.

Oh and on the price query, that is the exact amount you pay on a monthly basis IF you didn't take or agree to any additional services.
