Telkom: there is no SAT3 failure

Yeah. It might not be SAT3, but there is congestion somewhere. Latency spikes are much more common, as are timeouts on a lot of US based pages.

Barely have had problems on my Telkom account and mostly always good latency in games every month. Only once or twice the account went down but thats all.

Dont notice latency spikes here.

I'm still having Disconnects, random 999's (disconnects / timeouts) in games etc. My line tests 100%, had port resets done up to the wazoo, new router, new ISP the works.

No CRC errors upstream or downstream,No unusually high line attenuation, continuous ping to 5 servers simultaneously for 10 minutes, speed and ping test, checked packet loss. Everything is in order.

As soon as I start bringing "international" in, the problem starts. While playing Blackops, Cod4, MW2, Serious Sam online, Need for Speed Shift 2, Renegade Ops, anything that is used to connect internationally for authentication, stats, well just about anything, I will start disconnecting, 999'ing etc, but my Teamspeak (local server) doesn't disconnect whatsoever. Some of the other gamers I have spoken to have reported exactly the same findings all starting from roughtly End Ocotber / Beginning November.

Whats about the SNR/Noise Margin and tracert hops did they meet the requirements?

Tracert to random servers will go through as usual, whether it's to the DC where I work, to my HMC exchange, other RDP and or game servers and websites. No unusually long ping times or timeouts. Current SNR is perfectly acceptable too, check it out for yourself:

My stats roughly a week prior to this happening pulled from my logs.

SNR Margin(Upstream) 6.5 dB
SNR Margin(Downstream) 20.55 dB
Line Attenuation(Upstream) 8.0 dB
Line Attenuation(Downstream) 23.5 dB

Here is what it is at now

SNR Margin(Upstream) 6.5 dB
SNR Margin(Downstream) 21.25 dB
Line Attenuation(Upstream) 8.0 dB
Line Attenuation(Downstream) 22.5 dB

Well upstream should be above 12 db for stability. 6.5 db is a little bit too low.

Your second hop in tracert should be below 12 ms so if it is its alright then
