Ok for those of you who are really into the racing scene and love some more realistic and less arcadie type gaming well then ur in luck... Test Drive Unlimited 2 is coming and its going to rock the Sandbox racing world hehehe... im really amped to get stuck into this TRUE STORY...

I loved the first one and it sure did not disappoint me... tbh i for one cannot wait for this to come out and hit the shelves...

From driving the up class and exotics to bundu bashing through a forest in a 4X4, this game is situated on Ibiza and its going big...

I had 1, enjoyed it but hated the fact that a little sapling could stop my lambo if i was doing 200km/h down the straigh. So if TDU2 employs a better damage model then I might get interested.

Well apparently the realism of the game just got better... i like to switch off all the assistance and drive like that... its so much better :D
 
I liked TDU 1, kept me busy for a while, but I only ever played it Singleplayer. I know it was a MMORacing game, but I would have loved LAN :)

After enough gameplay, players will be able to return to an expanded and updated Oahu from the previous game. Players will be able to customize both their characters and their vehicles. It was also announced on March 15 that TDU2 will feature SUVs and a co-op game mode in which one player drives while the other player reads the map.Vehicles feature cosmetic damage which does not affect the behaviour and technical aspects of the vehicles. There is no option to manually repair the vehicle, by resetting to the road or visiting a house the car may get fixed. Rainfall does affect the handling of the vehicles though, and also influences the appearance of a vehicle as rain washes off dirt. Eden has also spent years working on a new physics engine to ensure each vehicle has its own driving behaviour. New details and functions have been added, such as different headlight modes, turning signals and working convertible roofs
