Tetris to get its own movie

The classic videogame Tetris, in which players slot a cascade of tumbling blocks together, is being turned into a science-fiction movie, the project’s developers said Tuesday

Can't see how it is movie potential unless it has very little to do with the actual game and is banking on the license name alone but guess time will tell.

Story is a blank slate, they can pretty much come up with anything. I'm pretty sure it's going to suck, because they're going to try too hard. They can't even make a decent movie based off of games with a decent storyline, now they're going for Tetris.

On second thought, that might actually be better.
