The 10 top rated FPSs

Nice list. Good to know that I've played all the best FPS's. I do think, however, that they could have added a few underdogs but for that I blame the reviewers...
 
probably not one of the best, but the most fun i`ve had in an fps is tf2

the fps that impressed me the most was prey with its silly physics
 
Nice article, you should do one with the top 10 worst FPS. It'll be interesting to see how many of those we have played (and finished, or loved?)
 
Oh yeah, and Tinny you also said "Bioshock 360".

HL1 is the bomb. That and Quake 2, with thier millions of awesome mods are definately the top games in my eyes.
 
I'm not sure if Metroid Prime should be counted as an FPS, as it wasn't really a shooter but more of a First Person Platformer?? Good list but I think Unreal needs to be mentioned on there rather then Unreal tournament too.
 
Half life 2 FTW still an awesome game.

Bioshock 2 should have been there but they dropped the ball in going too much action and not so much on the story this time around as in the first one.

Lol @ cod4 and MW2 scoring the same.
 
Solid list. Didn't enjoy Bioshock, but I can see how it appeals to others.

Yeah. Recently played through it on easy to get the storyline & its pretty amazing how much variety there is...even when I've played it through 2x already years ago & know most of the surprises.
 
Bioshock is #2 hey? And both MW and MW2 are in the top 10 list, when MW2 really did nothing to propel the genre forwards? And where on earth is Deus Ex? And why is Quake there instead of Quake 2?
 
I read the list as well, If you look at the Ratings on Metacritic, Deus Ex (best game ever) only scored 90% so didnt make the top10 list
