The 20 best TV shows that were cancelled way too soon

These great TV shows were cut down in their prime.

FireFly is a given, but so to Twin Peaks (although, they are working on a new series.) The other one that I also really liked was Dead Like Me. A great show with a great concept and excelent actors.

Agreed that Firefly is a given, but it is also cool to see it so high on the list. Not sure that any of the other series on here were as mistreated as Firefly. Not only did Fox air the episodes out of order (total hospital pass), it didn't even broadcast the last few episodes, if memory serves.

Other series I enjoyed that made the list are Terra Nova, Veronica Mars, V, Dollhouse (another Joss Whedon series cancelled too early! By Fox! Idiots!), and SGU.

Flashforward was pretty cool too.

I heard good things about Rome, Deadwood, and Sarah Connor Chronicles but never checked them out. Freaks and Geeks is on Netflix - might give it a watch given how high it ranks.

Rome needed at least one more season. They kind of rushed everything in the last episodes of season 2. I wouldn't mind a prequel series about Julius Caesar's campaign in Gaul.

Glad to see Jericho is on the list, it had some potential. Could have done with another season or two.

Flash Forward was the biggest let down for me... But i never watched FireFly...

Cut down in its prime... only 6 episodes :-(
