After Saturday's game the tri nations championship is looking favorable for NZ, no doubt they have the upper hand after the away win, theres going to be lots of work to do if we are going to win the competition now.

Good win for the sharks, griquas showed that they have no answer when playing away from home against top quality sides, they are a side thats improving but I don't see them winning the competition. Congrats to the bulls, WP and the cheetahs.
 
We just have to beat the Aussies this weekend and garner one bonus point from the remainder and it seals the Tri-Nations in our favour ..... IIRC.
 
Man, the Griquas played a terribly shit game! Oh well.

I wanted the Aussies to win, damn losers...

Let's hope they stick to what they do best this weekend.

Which is why we need just one more point. Even if we lose a match with bonus tries or less than 7points we're ok :)
 
Yip, they can but we have very good points difference,
they would also have to beat us with 5points, keep our score as low as possible and beat the Aussies with 5points.
 
As long as the boks go with the mentality of winning the game and not focus on just getting one point, it should be like any other game, play to win.
 
Did anyone actually think we would be in this position?
I had huge doubt in PvD! And still have.
I don't think I made a mistake, cause I think that Heyneke Meyer was the man for the position. But since Politics needs to measle in everywhere....
 
I did not, I would have been happy with a bonus point from losing within 7 points, SA negativity probably, we are a hugely negative nation unfortunately. I'm sure that Dick Muir does most of the work and PVD spends his time thinking about the next dumb thing he is going to say in his post match interview.
 
I have this feeling that we are going to lose on Saturday. It's just a gut feeling though. We are a great team but something makes me feel like we are going to lose a close game.
