The All Rugby Thread.

They had an OK match. Everything went their way. Francoise Steyn kicked the ball away again several times. And missed all his drop-kicks and giving possession away in the process. He also missed the tackle when Brumbies scored their first try. It looked like he stood still.. lol
The Refs missed a forward pass that they scored a try from, right after the video ref didn't give the first attempt by Petersen.

The 3 loose forwards won them the match. They were excellent. The Sharks were very pushy today, kept pushing the Brumbies during off-the-ball play. Bismarck did it several times, Ndungani even did it a few times, lots of scuffles. So at times, not pretty.
But they won and that is good.

Brumbies looked completely off their game today. You barely saw Smith and Rathbone, their supposed star players.

bah, I think you need to shed those Breezers shackles and become a full blown Sharks supporter ...... it's soooo apparent that you're a closet one already :p:D

Sheesh just read on News24 that one of the brumbies players was hit by a car last night outside a Durban nightclub. Not good. Apparently he sustained massive injuries.

He probably said he didn't like the Debbin curries ;) and they did a hit on him.
They take their curry srsly up there, boet.

Ok, so that was a joke, it's not a serious comment. Please Internetz ppl, remain calm. mkay.

Wonder if the guy was drunk at all.

Durban - Brumbies rugby forward Shawn Mackay is in a Durban hospital after being hit by a car following his side's Super 14 loss to the Sharks in South Africa.

It is understood Mackay, 26, was struck as he and several players were making their way back to their team hotel after they went out following the 35-14 loss on Saturday night, reports The Australian newspaper.

The Brumbies said Mackay was nursing a broken leg and head injuries but is in a stable condition at Durban's St Augustine's Hospital.

“Shawn is a popular member of the playing group and obviously our thoughts are with him,” Brumbies spokesman Nick Smith said.

“While we are still gathering details our primary concern is for Shawn's health and safety.” Mackay, who came off the bench in the loss to the Sharks, joined the Brumbies at the start of the season from the NSW Waratahs.

He has been a member of the Australian Sevens side since 2004 and also spent five years playing rugby league with the Sydney Roosters' junior side.

The Brumbies will remain in South Africa this week ahead of next weekend's match with the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein.

sharks game was ok, a better game than last week, although i feel that steyn can't cope on flyhalf.

i feel the LIONS could've and should've won, but 2-3 dumb errors cost 'em the game. jaque fourie is an anwesome player
other good players that are raising their hands for boks jerseys are ludik and vermaak

Ye man, I hear that! I thought the Lions was going to win for sure! :(
Sucks for them.

SA must stop keeping the bottom end of the log warm with at least 2 teams every season... it's humiliating

Sheesh, the Lions had the perfect opportunity to help out by keeping the Chiefs down and then they go fall asleep in the last 20 minutes  As for that sad lot, the Breezers ... what other way is there to say Pathetic huh

Onto the Sharks (not even giving the Cheetahs a mention because really, what's the point) ..... I reckon it's gonna be tight and dirty but the Sharks will just pip the Hurricanes ;)

At least the Lions game was entertaining. I wish they had won though. Still a good performance.

The Stormers... They should really get rid of Naqelevuki and Mujati.

Wow, now that was a champion display eh :D Sharks saving the day for SA and further cementing their top spot (not to mention shutting up the jealous types).

but now to this weeks s14 clashes

my predictions:
lions to win the blues *crosses fingers*
the force to win the hurricanes (upset)
reds to win the highlanders
stormers to finally put it together and win the brumbies (away win)
bulls to win the warrathas
sharks to give the cheethas a hiding
