The Avengers: what can I say about it? In the words of Shania Twain, "That don't impress me much."
So they're serving up Thanos [derivation: Thanatos, i.e. Death [Greek]] in the inevitable Avengers 2 movie. I wonder whether we can expect Drax the Destroyer too? And Moondragon?
Avengers did nothing for me: it raised not a single goosebump.
Yes, it was loud, the usual high-budget smörgåsbord of visual effects was very much in evidence, and there were a few attempts at humour, but I felt that the film was too drawn out [translation: I felt bored.] I am by no means a film buff or literary critic , and rely on gut feel as a measure of the movie. It didn't. Move me, that is.
