Don't bother going to Vincent's IC. Went past there today and there's nothing on special.
 
was at menlyn ic. if you haven't got brutal legend for ps3 yet and wanted to... it's up for R200. rest of specials, well not so interesting for me.
 
I found a reference to the 50% off EA titles on on of those rotating rack contraptions at the back of IC, but most of the cheaper items
were PS3 games and the prices of the Xbox and PC games are no more special than they are at Musica. Offer me Halo Wars or Gears of War for R99, and I'm there.

At IC in hemmingways I got myself NFS Shift for the PS3 @ R199. Not too bad I suppose. But yeah, their range is severely depleted.
 
I am surprised that you found sale items at IC Hemingways. Other times I have been there, they have been selling items that are meant to be on special at the regular price.

I saw a copy of Red Alert 3 for Xbox 360 marked down to R150 at Musica [Vincent Park] this morning.
 
bt had a sale on, might be finished, lots of R99 to R199 specials on new games(not preplayed) picked up "sid meiers civilization revolution" for R150, i checked out the ic sale 50% off ea games, only thing left was mw2 for R350.

Im still looking for a good deal to buy a ps3 but the 40gb refurbished ps3 looks like a ripoff..

The refurb unit special has been on for some time and is utter nonsense. Makro 120gb seems like the best deal at the moment. I remember hearing a rumour that ps3 prices gonna be dropping so maybe check into it before buying a ps3.

The Makro deals don't look bad. I would look at the Heavy Rain option personally.
