The best and worst fibre providers in South Africa

MyBroadband’s Q2 2017 broadband survey results show that fibre subscribers are generally much happier with their service than those on DSL or wireless connections.

My personal experience with fibre has been that any fibre is good fibre.

Realistically I just want a stable low latency link that isn't dog slow. So whether it pushes 20mbps or 100mbps...honestly it's close enough in my books. If it's not stable or latency is high then I'll be unhappy though...

I would think so. A guy at the office just got 5mb and he says youtube videos play smoothly now.

Youtube (720p) plays smoothly at 2mb already.

But jirre 5...no man. I was thinking more like 20+ when I said any fibre is good fibre.
