Why do you people fucking CARE? Are you a bunch of children? Every time someone gets neg repped on these forums they get so goddamned butthurt that they feel the need to make a post or a thread about it. It's just a rep system. If you can't take it when someone gives you neg rep, maybe you shouldn't be posting in a forum in the first place. If I had to make a post for every time some idiot BF3 fanboi neg repped me for saying I don't like BF3, my post count would be 50 posts higher, at least. As for me, I don't think you're an idiot, I just think you're ignorant. The only thing I read from your post is "It doesn't have flashy graphics. How.do.people.play.this.shyte". A game doesn't have to be a AAA game or have uber-realistic graphics to be considered a masterpiece.

I didn't admit anything dude, just said it reached a point where it was a joke to use the name Graal in the comments section. I didn't say anything about what "I" do in the comments section.
Also the line where I said "Maybe people would leave you alone if you simply "got over it"" was just the same advice other users gave you as well.
I honestly don't know how you got an "admission of guilt" from that. It's probably your tendency to jump to such radical conclusions that gets you trolled from here to Timbuktu.
SIDE NOTE: I really hate having to explain my posts. I really feel like I'm being condescending towards the user I'm explaining it to. But I'd rather do that than have a big misunderstanding erupt like what's about to happen here.

You make it seem like it's such a mystery... Simply go read the comments thread in any article where you've been trolled, you'll see comments like "I'm the real Graal," "No I'M the real Graal," with tons of similar comments from people named "Graal," "The REAL Graal," etc.
It's not really rocket science to figure out that lots of users are having fun with it. Unless it's one user making lots of pointless comments on one thread.
Also, I neither admitted to not being a part of it, nor have I admitted to being a part of it. I'm going to play it completely neutral because I don't know how you may use it against me. Also, if YOU have anything you want to discuss, you PM me. And I'll gladly answer.
In relation to the other discussion in this article, I was also Neg repped for saying "hissy fit" I really wish the individual who negg'd me for that would come forth and provide me with a better expression to use.

The point is, Mephisto, if somebody calls you an idiot for a difference in opinion, it doesn't say much about him/her either, does it? It's really no use getting angry over people being petty. With that said, reputation is anonymous and private, so I don't really see how it makes the forum look cheap or immature, unless you mean the rep system itself does that. In that case, I'm all for having it removed.
On another note, though, if you want to make an accurate guess as to who gave you rep, check the time the rep was given. Oftentimes people post in the thread shortly after giving or deducting rep. I can often deduce who gave or took rep from me by doing that. Doesn't always work, as sometimes people don't post, or if the thread is very busy, but it's a means to try.
But back on topic, I'm still playing this game. Haven't finished it, but I reckon if I didn't get so angry each time I die I might have. It happens often that you get to level 3 or four, build up a bunch of awesome upgrades, and then make a stupid mistake and die. Kinda hard restarting after that. Most of the fun lies in discovering all the various upgrades you get, though.

I disagree James. I think things would not reach such boiling points if we all just chip in be more careful about how we conduct ourselves, not only in this forum but in the real world too.
When you do something that's wrong, and which clearly has an impact, own up quickly instead of letting it boil over into an uncontrollable scene like the one in the comments sections. For example, if a user see's his name being used in the comments section, instead of creating a scene about it, simply let it slide, I mean if that user has said something offensive under your username which does not represent how you are in the forums, just let it go instead of fighting it, and trust that the mods will delete it when they get to it.
Abusive comments are not tolerated there from what I've seen
That's just one example. I know the comments section is difficult to maintain due to the anonymous (lol) nature of it all, but if we don't try to fight it, it won't be a problem.
The other issue is the rep system. Neg repping someone because they said something you didn't like is no different from making a nasty comment in the articles because you're allowed to post a comment with the rep, and it causes a lot of animosity. If you're going to neg someone, it shouldn't be due to childish reasons like "You're an asshole."
Lastly, as implied by my first paragraph, simply take responsibility for your actions, if you do something, put yourself in the shoes of the other person and see whether you'd be offended or not if someone said that to you.
And thanks for everything you do James, I imagine it really must get frustrating sometimes.

I'm easily baited, it's a fallacy of mine, and unfortunately, every time drama goes down on these forums, somehow I'm in the middle of it. It needs to stop, because I don't want to continue being a headache to James.
There is also a major difference between having your nick used, and having someone post you and your friends' personal information in a public comments section, just by the way.

If you want to stop being a headache to James then stop involving yourself in every conversation. Take a look at your previous post and the quote you used. It was clearly directed at James. You felt the need to take it personally enough to quote it, and respond to it. And then you wonder why drama "follows" you around.

It's the same as someone who gets drunk every weekend, performs and embarrasses himself and his friends and then says "I'm sorry guys, I don't want to be such a headache to you all, but everywhere we go there's someone serving shots." You need to develop the discipline to say no, I will not drink. Or in this scenario. No, I will not comment, I will leave it alone. Don't think just because you say that you're easily baited means that it's okay for you to get involved with everything and just walk off scot-free simply because "you can't help it, it's your weakness"
In life you will go to the work place and face competitive colleagues who will be gunning for the same position you are. And they will do things to upset your chances. If you simply accept yourself to be someone who simply cannot be the bigger person and walk away then you will be a soft target for your peers and they will exploit you as a soft target so that they may progress.
As for your troll issue, well whoever has been posting your personal info is most likely a person who actually knows you, rather than someone unknown, like I said, if you ignore it, and report it to a mod, I'm sure they'll take care of it. When a comment is directly harmful like posting personal info, I'm sure they'll step in almost immediately to help.
