I say, it needs more epicness.
Like more/faster motion.Put a bit of looney into it
since the videos are short.Make it explosive you know? Not literally.But you know?
Like clever ideas, you know?
Here's what i liked:

But i guess this is just based on how i like my cartoons, looney toonish.If it's anything else it better be good.
Things i like about cartoons that are non looney toonish:
>If 3D better be fun and action packed, well rendered or original.
>Nice and twist story
>Good colouring
These can be implemented in shorts too.
Summary applying to you:
>Make them clever ideas
>Give the story a funny objective
>More expression and motion
