Can anyone confirm whether this works with Skyrim?
Not sure what you did to break it but the white-out effect is from the Steam overlay and it's an easy fix. Tried it myself in Skyrim, remembering to turn off the ingame AA, and going from 2xAA to SMAA(high) I found almost no drop in FPS but a significant increase in the quality of the AntiAliasing. Best object I found to test this on is a bow, zoom in to it in your inventory and check out the aliasing on the bowstring.I tried with Skyrim, but it didn't end well for some reason. First the game blurred all smoke effects, then I found out it's due to the Steam overlay. Then it felt like it was playing on fast forward and everything felt overly bright.
Decided to remove it after that.
Must be some strange interaction with another mod or some hardware settings like you said, very strange.Yeah, I managed to fix the white-out effect by disabling Skyrim's in-game Steam overlay. Also turned off the game's AA. Dunno, must be something in my hardware causing issues, but my game just feels really weird with this on. It's like it's playing 1.5X speed, and when I walk under a beam of light or other light source with my sword out, it nearly blinds me.
