The Division Thread

Personally I struggle with the game, I have always sucked at twitch/FPS games and done better with strategy/tactical. Soloing some main missions on normal is a tremendous struggle for me but I am learning to apply tactics to the apparent AI of the game, which is satisfying.

Still enjoying it, only level 17 on my main and 11 on my group only character.

How do you okes level so quickly? I'm only level 15 after 12hours play time. I mostly play side missions/events and do some material/intel gathering here and there.

Quickly? hahaha.... I'm going on 34 hours and only level 18 I thinks. Not exactly quick, but I think people just group up and spam storry missions on hard in order to rank up quicker.

Must be that. I see DuckKnuckle is level 28 and someone else was level 15 on the first or second day. I'm waiting until i'm level 30 before grouping up.

LOOOOL I think im on like 14hours and only level 9... im running around with the fiance trying to show him how to play the game as he is struggeling a bit. he doesnt understand the point of collecting guns and the deconstructing them to make new ones etc... he is a real noob and i constantly have to go and show him how to take out a bunch of enemies as he keeps running at them trying to kill them instead of taking cover etc(he is dying insanely a lot lol).... but he will get there eventually

I've got 30 hours into the game. Almost finished with the story. Remember to speak to the JTF officer and use the Situation Board in every safe house, and then speak to the JTF officer once you've done all side missions for more XP.

And yeah, I've played everything solo in the single player with all missions on hard difficulty. Only grouping I did was yesterday in the DZ.

lawl... what is he, a scrub? tell him to git gud!

lol just kidding, as long as you're having fun while doing it, that's all that matters innit?

42 hours and level 17 and a level 11, no rushing here.

I rushed the level 11 to get to group with a friend, took me about 4 hours just doing side missions/main missions. Side missions give double the xp of small wing missions in the same area.

Sounds like he will make good cannon fodder while you cheese it.

Hiro - dunno if the previous video helped but here's something a lot more intricate

I can see the video's title, but can't watch it due to the work internet being all derp. What ability did they remove?

Trained talent to be replaced at a later update

Basically the talent is still in game, it just does nothing.

Edit:

As Arekkz explains in the video above, when the Talent was applied to a high-end SMG such as the Midas, it allowed the player to keep the Signature skill up 100% of the time.

When players would venture into the Dark Zone for PvP using this talent, they and their teammate would basically annihilate other players due to critical hits increasing the Signature Skill resources. Considering SMGs all come with a Critical Hit Chance bonus as standard, the frequency at which a player lands crits was already pretty high.

Typically, a Signature Skill takes around 10-13 minutes to recharge, but with Talent applied to this gun, recharging only took 30 seconds due to the higher rate of recharges.

Now that the nerf has been applied, it will make things a bit more fair in PvP. According to Massive, Talent will still be visible on weapons but will have no effect until a further update where it will be replaced on existing weapons.

Some general balancing of experience gain and drop rates for items and currency were also applied during the downtime this morning.
