w00t! This is one of the reasons why Bethesda's games always entertain for so long. I can't play vanilla Oblivion or Fallout 3 - there are just too many great mods.

Well it's the best way to promote longevity in your titles. Most companies detest mod and map support thesedays cause it basically cancels out DLC hype and sales (to a certain extent) Think about it. How long did Farcry 1 last? IT did / does so because of rather user friendly tools allowing us to create uber mods. Farcry 2 would have been the same, a game that would still be played, specially the multiplayer part of we could create some decent mods. Granted the Map editor is awesome, but if we had official tools I would still be playing it.
