The end of gaming? I hope not!

Hey dudes [and dudettes]. For those of you who may not know, I suffered a seizure last Monday night, and spent several days in hospital [being prodded and probed and spoon-fed and held down while my lumbar was being well and truly punctured]

I was flown to Port Elizabeth on Monday for an EEG [no Neurologist in East London], and was told that I should know by the end of the week whether I have epilepsy/can expect to see more weird stuff floating around my room in future.

I am back at work now, but am looking away from my computer regularly to avoid headaches, etc.

I haven't felt any inclination to turn on a pc or console at home since the incident, but have become a a WHOLE LOT more interested in women. Personality change?

It scares me.

I am sorry to hear about your seizure. Let's hope that it ain't epilepsy.

Curious. What is it about gaming that would trigger a seizure? And what about watching TV?

hectic shit!

hopefully it's nothing serious and only a one time occurrence.

but, I have heard of people undergoing personality changes after similar incidents. something about the brain chemical changing.

Hey phoenix my sister had the same problem for about a year after my dad passed away and we found out it was a combination of stress as well as a chemical imbalance in the brain.

Get them to test you for that as well.

Shame dude, although higher sex drive is never a bad thing.

Hey man as weird as it is have u tried using some gaming glasses like the gunnar range? helps alot with my headaches. Dunno if it would help with your situation :)

I hope you are alright Phoenix. May it have been something simple and may you get healthy and have some good gaming time ahead of you!

If possible, please post a picture of a wimmin. I am unsure what this object is that you are now infatuated with. Google image search was unhelpful in this regard.

I hope everything will come right :) Just stay positive and I let me leave you a warning about wimmin :p Be careful hahah :p

Thank you for the support, guys.

I could do worse than have a look at the Gunnar range, though I already do wear spectacles.

Juice: Don't you take photographs of your.....erm....clients anymore?

I saw my shrink last week, and discussed the incident with him. He instructed me to go home, boot up a gaming device, and play.
So far I am managing it for short periods. [When I can tear myself from Android games on my Optimus L5. Hooked on Angry Birds: Space]

W000000t!!! :)
